I'd always loved listening to her stories, but I realized none of them were recorded. And once she was gone, those stories would be lost forever.
I knew I had to do something about it...
So I wrote down a long list of questions and spent an entire afternoon interviewing her all about her life — what it was like growing up during the Great Depression, her memories of World War II, and so much more.
These are stories that my family will cherish forever. Stories that I'll share with my own children one day. And I realized that if these stories meant so much to me and my family, the same was probably true for other families.
So I teamed up with my friend, Wesley, to create Tales — to give every family an effortless way to have more meaningful conversations.
What started as a way to capture my own grandmother's stories is now available to you and your family.
